Hello from Vegas! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week. My weekend has been amazing, overwhelming, exciting, jet-lagged, and incredible all at once. I feel so lucky to be able to get to visit Vegas, there is so much to do and so much to see. Our competition is today, Monday, and then after that our time is free. I’m excited to be able to explore a city that has so much to offer. Here’s hoping I don’t go bankrupt in the process. ;p I’m not sure what my posting schedule will be like so if you’re interested in following along on my Vegas adventure check out my Twitter and Instagram. I’ve been doing a great job of updating those. I’ll be doing recaps of my trip but I thought it would be fun to share some airline pictures I snapped. The flight to Vegas from PA is definitely a scenic one.
The Rocky Mountains. I flew US Air and loved how the Pilot would point out interesting facts as we passed by places. I had a window seat and thought it was so cool to get to see the one lane airport in the middle of the mountains. It’s built on the side of a mountain, if you don’t get up in the air by the end of it there’s only down to go. The one downside of US Air, it was the first plane I’ve ever flown on that didn’t offer any sort of snack on the plane. With how long we were in the air I was expecting meal options so I was pretty disappointed with that.
The outskirts of the Grand Canyon. If you look towards the back of the picture you can see some of the bigger parts of the canyon. Even though I lived in California when I was younger I’ve always considered myself an East Coast girl. It was so exciting to get to see major US landmarks that East Coasters don’t visit often. We may be renting a vehicle and driving out to the Grand Canyon one of the days we’re here, we’ll see if that happens!
I owe you guys a Veggie Reviewed and I promise to post it sometime next week. I’ve gotten to try some awesome products lately that I really want to share with you all, there has simply been no time for me to write the post. Something else I owe you is the Swiftwick contest winners. I’m sorry I didn’t post these on Friday like I originally intended. But today I can deliver. The 30 winners of the Swiftwick socks are listed below. If your name is on here you don’t have to do anything. I already sent your name and email address that you left in your comment to Swiftwick to contact you and get a pair shipped your way. If your name is on this list (or you think your name is on this list, there’s some common names) and you don’t use the email address you left in the comment then leave a comment on this post so I can contact you to get the correct email address. Thank you guys so much for entering, I promise to do more giveaways like this in the future. To the winners, I hope you love your socks, I know I do! I wore the compression socks on the flight and they kept my legs from feeling discomfort of any kind!
